The Dirty Dozen is a new and fresh trail running event inspired by the rugged terrain to be found around the forests of the SOutyher Lakes. Slightly tongue-in-cheek, this is a serious challenge with a light-hearted twist. The "military" theme is more Dad's Army than Saving Private Ryan, should you wish to run in your fighting fatigues or camp it up in your finest scrim netting. Either way, you will be tabbing through forests and over hills to achieve 12km that you will remember - a hard fought adventure run through some great countryside and finishing back in the Dirty Weekend arena to debrief your squad over a few well earned beers in the main marquee.
