ACE Races was established in 1999 as the first ever Adventure race series in the UK. From that day on, these events went on to set the standard of how adventure races should be run. 1000s have experienced the thrills and spills of an ACE Race. From the acclaim of the first ACE Race "Dirty Weekend" event featured as part of the Tweed Valley event in July, the adventure contunues this October in the Lakes with an adventure race designed for all levels. There is a choice of 1 day or the 2 day events, where you get to choose how far and how fast you go. The choice is yours. Here's how it all breaks down.

A) 2 Day ACE Race: Complete the 2 day event - the traditional ACE Race event enjoyed by 1000s over the last 10 years. It comprises a Saturday full of adventure activities followed by a short night navigation stage, then enjoy the night under canvas on the Saturday night and go forth again on Sunday. Activities include running, biking, kayaking and ropework, all connected by your own navigational talents. This event is open to solos, pairs and teams of 4 in the categories Mixed, Male and Female.

B) Saturday ACE Race: If you do not fancy the full 2 day-er, you can pitch up on the Saturday and have a long day out with us on that days' activities. The lion's share of the action will be in daylight but if you do choose to do the day race, there's the traditional ACE night stage for you too. Except we have spruced this up a bit. Expect some unexpected activities as we take you out on the hills and into the forest at night. With the one day option, you will be back well before midnight and we will have beer to round off your evening. Solos, Pairs and teams of 4 as above.
